Martha Stewart Poppies

I know I'm a little bit late on this, but I finally got to enjoy the May issue of Martha Stewart Living, and it is so beautiful! Of course, I love their poppy theme!

Ready for a poppy party?!

Silk Poppies, perfect for a pin or barrette!

I just read that issue myself. Now, I ask you--from one poppy lover to another--how brilliant are those cupcakes?!

Ahhhh... what amazing images.I do love those HAPPY little POPPIES! I DON'T currently, have them in any of my gardens. I think it's their whimsical qualities that draw me in. YEARS ago, in our very first garden, I had "Fairy Wing" poppies...ah, such beautiful pastels, and gorgeous transparent petals. Now however, my gardens are all white, with the exception of a few of my favorites (purple lilacs, blue hydrangea and a few old rose bushes), so I would have to get white ones...which could still happen :)
Such a CHEERFUL post...just like you dear one! Have a WONDERfilled couple of days off...Love Ya...Rosie

I also think poppies are SO beautiful. I am going to plant som this year and I am excited about it! They look like tissue paper and seem so very fragile... but they seem to withstand alot. Kind of like some women!
Hmmm.... I feel a blog post comin' on . HAhaha!
I love that poppy tablecloth!
Have a pretty day!

Precious Shawna my dear!!!! YOUR POST IS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY and you know, you have given me a love for orange again!!! EVERYTHING YOU FIND IN THIS SOFT HUE is simply gorgeous my friend! You must have posted this later in my evening for I was watching diligently all the new posts going up, and YES, I FREAKED OUT when we had that BLOGGER MELTDOWN! At first I thought it was just my account or computer, then I lost comments, and then I saw everyone of Blogger had the same issue. THANK YOU PRECIOUS for coming to visit me; PARIS....that is my diversion to get away from the reality of the stress over me until school lets out! I have to go in today to start a series of reading tests that are NEW to me and I am just a tad nervous about how to do them, but I have great colleagues that know what to do. MERCI MILLE FOIS for your sweet friendship and have a lovely day dear friend. IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND, let me know and I will put your name and link on my Paris link list!

GROSSES BISES, Anita

Love poppies; such a shame they don't want to grow in my garden, not the right soil... tried it over and over and this year tried it in pots... I wonder and wait... but with all these ideas you're posting... I wish that Martha Stewart magazine was sold over here, I would buy it in an instant! Thanks for sharing!!!
Bye,
Marian
