Birdcages are lovely, just like lanterns, but I dont like to see little birds caged up though, birds are meant to be free :) I love the detail on those bird cages and as once they are for decorative purposes only with no birds inside I love them :)

All things nice...

Isn't it amazing how something so simple like a birdcage can add so much to a room or an outfit? How does that happen?? Love it!

Ah birdcages, so elegant, so pretty. We had a birdcage for cards/envelopes at our wedding.

Found your blog through express-o!

Wow it is not like you are just talking about birdcages - which is one of my favorites decor items (specially the vintage ones) but you also showcase THE best selection of birdcage related images... very very pretty!

There are beautiful and I think I prefer them without birds in them. xoxo

These are such beautiful pictures! I was thinking of birdcage veils the whole time I was reading this. If I go in a time machine and change any one thing about my wedding, it would be to have a birdcage veil!

good plan, good plan my friend. when i get it together i will do just that. i love that photo (and several others of these) so much.

ps - in hindsight the vest was totally worth it. and i did escape that debacle with $2000 worth of merch for $205. it was highway robbery via the lobotomy turnpike. haha

Birdcages are SO cool! I've been fascinated with them since I was little. I think it would be neat to have a fancy antique one with a real bird inside of it, just one, (quiet!) bird! XO!
