House Tour Inspiration: Country Coastal Cottage

Loving the coastal theme in this House Tour. The nautical elements are perfect for summer. Owners Kevin and Layla's inspiration come from "Father Time and Mother Nature. Antique furniture and accessories, and vintage linens in various shades of green, blue, white, black and brown."

Love the birdcage on the refrigerator!

Love the boat paddle hanging over the windows.

Check out the entire house tour here.

Oh, I adore that kitchen. I can imagine myself cooking dinners for friends and family there. Beautifully furnished house, too.

It's fabulous! I love how it's not overly nautical. It's more sophisticated and has the perfect touches to make it a coastal home.

Stay cool today. Definitely get some pool time in! :)

I love adding dark brown to a room, especially in the floors. It is a natural contrast to white (which I also love).

Great pics!

I adore the coastal theme. For some reason...looking at the nautical blues, sailing ships and anchor is so very soothing to me :)

What is that little room after the kitchen photos? It looks so cozy! My husband would love to have a nautical-themed house. I think he thinks he used to be a sailor or something in his former life :-)

It is lovely, pristine, clean and inspiring, what a great place to relax or entertain.
It reminds me of the set of Something's Gotta Give-with darker tones and it has a little Hampton's feel to it.
Lovely blog and content-a most enjoyable read, cheers!

I love love the splashes of blue in the interior. Always hard to find exactly the right shade of blue and the place to add it ;o)
Hugs for a super sweet Summer week! xx

That is the best house that I have ever seen! It embodies the essence of the east coast, nautical elements and I feel like that I can smell the salt in the air and feel the nice sea breeze!
