Day in the Museum

A few weeks ago I was able to spend a glorious day in a museum in honor of my birthday month! It was an incredible place, and since I went without knowing what I would even see, there were plenty of wonderful surprises!

The Rococo exhibit...like stepping into Versailles.

OMG This is just GLORIOUS DEAREST!AND HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!!! It is so good to see you my sweet friend! Our fine arts museum here in Minneapolis is similar, with rooms like this that just keep you spellbound. I am so glad to hear that you are PAINTING! AND YES, I finally opened up my Etsy. It took weekends of planning and setting it up and NOW, I am selling on a regular basis. This weekend, I am stocking up and managing it, and it is a lot of work, piled on top of my full-time job and one of my favorite things: BLOGGING! That is why I don't have a new post up yet! So here I am, trying to figure out what I will post....

I wish you a lovely weekend my dear heart! Anita

I love going to Museums too! How lovely is this museum?? I only thought these types existed in Europe. I'm hoping to go to the palace in Caserta near Naples tomorrow. Apparently the King at the time wanted to outdo Versailles. I'll let you know if it is better.

Have a wonderful weekend sweetie!

I don't think I'd ever want to leave that place. It looks so majestic! I remember the time my mom and I went to the Smithsonian in DC she literally had to drag me out the museum because I am in awe with all the exhibits. Lol. And the time my boyfriend and I went to ripleys I had to look at everything they showcased.

I'm a sucker for historical items but was never a history buff. Your photographs are amazing! Makes me want to go visit it myself.
