happy thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It is hard to be back from vacation, but not as hard as it might normally be since it is the holidays! I am so excited to eat all that wonderful food!

How great is it that there is a national holiday for all of us to really give thanks for all our wonderful blessings. Of course everyday should be like this, but how nice there is a holiday for it as well!

May you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by your loved ones! Appreciate each moment you have for we never know when times may change and everyone can't all get together.

Hi how are you?

I was looking through your blog, and I found it interesting, and inspiring to me, so I thought why not post a comment.

I have blogs also obviously and would like to invite you to become my blog pal.

I mostly post about the South West experience through the perspective of personal writings, and my art.

Maybe you can become my friend, and follow, and I can also follow you, if that is okay.

Well I hope to hear from you soon… :)

Having a holiday that is all about giving thanks is pretty awesome! Since I don't live in the states anymore, today is just a regular old Thursday for me (the saddest Thursday of the year actual) but Saturday, I'll be celebrating Thanksgiving with some other American friends, watching recorded football games and giving thanks :-) Happy Thanksgiving!

WELCOME HOME DEAREST SHAWNA!!!!!!!!!

Oh precious one, I hope that the memories you made away for a while will remain with you and inspire you for your next step...

You know, I have been keeping very busy with school; it is hard to get away from the responsibilities of the job, but as I was pondering on the subject just yesterday, I was realizing that the creative process is a very organic and personal things...duh! BUT when I finally INTERNALIZE these truths, I realize that the greatest and most powerful works of art come from a FREEDOM and not a feeling of being pressured or compelled to do it....or rather, FORCED. When any of us TRY TO HARD, the end result is just that: TRYING TO HARD. In what I have noticed about my work and the work of others is that when we just do what is in our souls, it flows out and that is what our audience loves the most. When we try to be something, it doesn't work. JUST BE. I think Coco Chanel said something to that affect.

I wish you a relaxing week and holiday that will only result in a flow of creativity and beauty...you can do it...

LOVE TO YOU! Anita

Hey Shawna! Glad you got some time off! I miss Thanksgiving - the pumpkins, the leaves falling off the trees, the smell of the air....mmmmm. We didn't get to Caserta that weekend because it was raining and a lot of what I want to see is outside. We're going to try again for this weekend. I'll let you know.

Have a wonderful thanksgiving sweetie! Love the geometrics on here! xoxo

Hope you're feeling better, and that you were able to taste too! :)

My thanksgiving was good even though I was sick as well. Nonetheless it was the first I didn't get to spend with family and cooked my first turkey! Cooking was a success with still a lot of leftovers.
