Parisian Eating

While going through old emails, I came across one I received a while back from The Kitchn. It was entitled "How to Lunch Like a Parisian" and made me want to revisit some pictures that I took in Paris.

I know lava cakes are here in the U.S., but the first time I had one was at a hotel in Paris...now one of my favorite desserts!
Sara Kate from the Kitchn stated, "The attitude in France about food is so different from the way we approach the subject in the U.S." I couldn't agree more. I think people fall in love with the food just as much as the city as a whole!

Look at this great purple color in the lobby. Tres chic!

And the adorable courtyard outside.

Paris really is for lovers...

Escapism to the max. These photos are perfection. Yes, there is more respect for food I think. And the simplest food is divine. Like that photo of your baquette. And then there's the history and architecture. And I found even store windows were incredible and what people wear... Could go on and on. Thank you too for your kind words on my blog. Really appreciate it. Pruxxx

There really is nothing like Paris. The macarons, the toasty bread and salty butter, the caramel ice cream, and the beouf bourgignon. Delish! Your post took me there!

To be honest, one of the huge reasons I want to go to Paris is to sit at the many cafes, eating my artfully crafted cakes and sipping on french-pressed coffee. :]

So beautiful! And it's so true about how the French approach food. Everything about the culture is so fascinating. I'm reading Entre Nous right now and it's so interesting to see their take on everything.

These photos are gorgeous. Can't wait to go back to France :)

The food in France has never disappointed me, the only thing is that in my teens all I could afford was a croissant a day. I came back home quite slim...
