DIY Coasters

I saw this tree stump coaster DIY on A Beautiful Mess Blog and just had to try it! That blog has so many wonderful DIY ideas and it is full of everything beautiful! These coasters are really easy to make and I love how they turned out. I have found that sewing is a wonderful, relaxing past time in the evenings whenever there is some free time!

Are there any projects you are working on? I would love to hear about them!

These are really cute!

Don´t have a project right now; was going to start chrocheting a new blanket but didn´t like the yarn I bought so have to go back and change... And I keep forgetting that detail, haha! Starting to feel restless though, so have to do something about that soon.

PRECIOUS ONE!!!!!!!!!! I love your new LOOK HERE!!!!!!!! Oh, how FRESH AND BEAUTIFUL our turquoise looks with yellow! Very, very beautiful, and this sweet coaster is so HAPPY with its little aqua leaves!!!

Thank you dear for your visit and comments. I am now gearing up to put my drawings on Etsy this weekend, and I even showed my work to a local HIGHER-END shop and they seem interested. SO MUCH HAPPENING and it is wonderful to at least try. HOW ARE YOU?????? I have had the last two days off and I have been planning my next ATTACK and what I will be offering. I guess things just start little by little. I SO HOPE you are painting and doing what YOU LOVE.

I send you my fondest wishes for a bright and wonderful weekend! Anita

This week is driving me crazy! Too much school work. But I'm doing alright :) It's raining a lot..I get to wear rain boots, and ride to school in the rain. It all works out :)
Have a lovely week.

Oh I L O V E that you have discovered this TRULY AMAZING pass time. I think on an earlier cuppa we were talking about sewing (slipcovers???) and I remember you saying that you did not own a machine...WELL CONGRATS! This has just opened up a brand new world of fun for you.
I remember as a new bride, being on a "no frills" budget and how fun it was to go to the fabric store and create whatever I needed. ...WONDERFUL memories.
These coasters are SO CUTE!!! If you make them larger, these would make delightful place mats or HOT pads!
Sending you a HUGE hug...Rosie

My friend and I had her whole wedding planning stuff filled with DIY projects from invitations to favors and centerpieces and it was fun! It cost a lot less and you get to appreciate it more because you've worked hard on it :)

I am on a project myself been working on a website with friends and although it's not much of a DIY having to learn things online is enough for me to experience.
