Attitude

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes."
-Charles Swindoll

No matter how we choose to show our attitude today, whether bold or subtle, may we have an attitude that makes life easier for ourselves and for those around us.

Such a great quote! I teach wellness at work and often read that quote; it never fails to receive rave reviews. Nice reminder for me to get myself this Tuesday morning!

Great words!
A friend said the same recently:
"We don’t control what happens to us in life; we only control how we respond. And our response makes all the difference. "
Amazing that you have the same post today!
You should see if you can get that book from the library Shawna, it's a fun read, but not really worth buying, I don't think :)

My attitude certainly governs how my day goes but circumstances affect my attitude- so it's a circle!

I needed to hear this right about now. I'm having a health issue that is recurrent and it's really getting me down. I should go about it differently, right? Thank you.

I can't tell you how much this hits home right now. I've been going through a crazy, frustrating time. The only way I figured I would/could get through it was with changing my mindset and attitude.

While my positivity doesn't always weather all the daily storms I encounter, it does help! Some days the storms are light or minimal. They tend to roll off a little easier if I start the day with a positive mindset.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Amen Sister...
How are you my dear girl? Hoping all is well in your neck of the woods. Am planning a little overhaul in my studio. Hoping to incorporate a home office, pretty space, complete with "chandy", into my work shop. Hmmm, not sure if this is possible, as this is where I paint like a CrAzY woman. My power tools will have to be hidden...maybe in a frilly white wardrobe. I LOVE all the beautiful workshop/home offices that I see. Ahhhh I need inspiration...what have ya got for me?
Happy Friday dear one...hugs...Rosie
