Oscars 2011

I've heard mixed reactions to this year's Academy Awards, but I know I thoroughly enjoyed it. So much so, I thought I would share my favorite fashions of the night.

I loved James Franco in all his usual happiness and I thought this Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci gown that Anne Hathaway wore at the beginning of the show was very beautiful.

And how could you not love Hailee Steinfeld in her Marchesa dress? So cute!

I really loved how Hilary Swank's Gucci Premiere gown flowed, especially as she walked out on stage.

Mandy Moore's Monique Lhuillier gown was just stunning. I love the sparkles and soft tulle.

I think Mila Kunis was a crowd favorite in Elie Saab Haute Couture. I love the lace detailing on this gown.

And I just had to add it was fun to see Russel Brand with his mom as his date and I rather liked his blue striped shirt.

Did you watch the Oscars? What did you think?

Mum's the word :) That was a nice move on his part! I agree with the crowd, Kunis looked beautiful! I really couldn't understand her dialogue with JT though. Doesn't matter, we just like to stare at them anyway :D XO, Kelly

Yes, Hailee was adorable; I forgot about her :) Great list - there were lots of lovely gowns; I don't think there was any one that really stood out on the WORST list, do you?

I liked Mila Kunis' dress most. I think Elie Saab has the best designs for the red carpet.

I loved it too. It felt so much more relaxed and less awkward this year. I also thought the Franco/Hathaway combo worked brilliantly. It was good to see people nominated for the first time - win! So happy for Colin Firth. My favourite outfit though was Scarlett Johanssen. I adored her look. She's just go it in bucket loads. Pruxxx

I didn't watch, because the only part I really like about shows is the red carpet. I loved all of the gowns you picked - Hailee Steinfeld look adorable, Mila Kunis' dress suited her and was a gorgeous color, Anne Hathaway looked beautiful, as always...and Mandy Moore looks SO grown up.
