Whiteout

I have always been intrigued by white interiors. I like how clean and fresh a white interior looks and how you can add a pop of color here and there and pretty much go with whatever style you like. It is a nice clean slate to start with. Have you ever had white furniture before? Would you recommend it? Or does it show dirt and wear too much? I would love to hear what you have to say!

Gorgeous rooms. I've always thought I was a bit too clumsy for all white. But looking around my apartment, I do have had a white duvet and white bathroom towels that I've managed to keep sparkling.

Now, a white couch? I may be asking for it ...

I love white furniture. I personally think this is ironic, because I just got my new desk, which is white, put in my room! :) But I do recommend it. To me, it makes a room look better!

I like it too, but I'd always be worried about dirt!

I love white interior for the same reasons you do too. We have white walls in our house and after a decade, they turned gray so I have a feeling furniture would go through the same thing too :(

I love white walls but not sure I could ever keep a white sofa clean!

I personally wouldn't choose a lot of white as it can look dirty very quickly but I agree with what your saying about it look clean, fresh and minimal. Also a touch of colour can do a room wonders.

How lovely!
I recognize that second pic from the Ikea catalog - it inspired me to buy a bunch of white frames :)

Gorgeous!!!! I have had a love affair with the color white for a long time! I like the flexibility of changing the look of a room by just adding a few accent colors.
I have white furniture covers, and they are not too hard to keep clean...you can throw them in the washer. I did paint my kitchen table and just the top of my coffee table white. They both have been a little more challenging to keep clean due to grandchildren living with us. They seem to do homework and playtime at the table and coffee table! My dining room table is still the wood tone, we hardly ever eat at that table. I should have painted that one white instead. :)
I do have white in our bedroom, that has been very easy to live with.
I hope you are having a happy day! Thanks for the beautiful decorating inspiration!
XOXO
Gloria

Happy Day dear one...
Oh, I LOVE each and every shade and tone of WHITE and cream.
I have had a creamy white sofa for about four years...and it is the BEST sofa I have ever had. The secret is the fabric...MICROFIBER...is the answer. I have an inside dog and a cat and it looks brand new. I did invest in an upholster/carpet cleaner which I use on it every 4 or 5 months...but it is VERY easy to keep. I am a very fickle decorator...changing my mind constantly. With a white pallet this is so doable.
Hope this note finds you well.
Sending you a warm January HUG.

I have to agree; white just looks so clean and polished! Am a huge fan of built-in cabinets, too!

i recently catered an event in a stunning summer home in the Hamptons: all white everywhere.

i thought about it on the way home.. and realized that until i could afford a live-in maid to constantly follow us --particularly the dog and the baby-- around, white won't do. ;) but it is stunning!

I agree with the bright white! I love painted white, but I have never gone all in with white upholstery. I would love to...with an all boy house, that might not be the best thing :)

We currently have a white couch and while I do love the look of it, it has gotten way too dirty way too quick so I don't think I would do it again.. I am especially loving pic 4 and 5 here. Hope you had a great week and have an even better weekend! ;) xo

I've never owned any white furniture but I think it looks so beautiful and pristine. Maybe one day I'll have a "white room". Hope you have a great weekend!

Happy Friday Poppie Girl! Another week has gone by so fast! Hope you have had a great week!
I still need to respond to your email! I am so excited for your new adventure! How fun :)
I like the look of white in magazines but I think I would get bored! I love color too much, plus it would not stay white for long with my four kids!
Have a great weekend Poppie Girl!
love ya

White can be risky, but I personally LOVE it. I've went with a dark wine/brown/tan color scheme for the past few years, and I'm totally ready to switch over to white, white, and more white! Iffy on the couch/chairs, but I would love to have white bookshelves, curtains, and other accents!

My lovely, how are you?
These photos are beautiful!!!!
I was just telling a co-worker that I'm going to have a white interior someday. There is some beautiful pureness to it. I like it.

The cold weather has become a burden. It is depressing. I do appreciate the beauty of the snow though. I just miss riding my bike, and sitting outside. School resumes in 4 days. I'll be riding my bike to school everyday like I used to. Hopefully, that'll make me happier.

I'm so happy that you found joy in your creativity. That makes me smile. Stay lovely, dear.

LOVE!
