Decorating With The Ordinary

I love decorating with items that are not typically considered "decor", like glass bottles for example. They can add a vintage, old-world kind of look to any space!

I especially love this look...the robin's egg blue, the brass, old books and bottles...it is just perfect!

Yep, the simple things in life... Really love the shelves in shots #1 and #2. Love the bluey/green colour and the worn white... The bottles are simple yet stunning aren't they. Pruxxx

You could call it 'decorating with things from the lab' and you know what, I love it!!! Those bottles in different shapes, instead of containing colourful potions, now filled with flowers!
Have a great weekend!!!

I'm a huge fan of these pictures...and the simple elegance and unexpectedness of the glass bottles. They come in so many shapes, sizes, colors and always leave me with a delightfully airy feel!

Oh my! I love all of these! I have always had a soft spot in my heart for old bottles. That love started with me when my grandma introduced her drawer of old bottles to me as a young girl (allowing me to pick out a bottle from it when we visited her each Summer). Great memories!
I hope you have a beautiful evening...:)
xoxo Gloria

I am such a sucker for old bottles. I try not to buy them unless I can think of a purpose for them right then and there. Turns out, I have a lot of "vases" now. :)

Hey there dear one,
I am back in the land of the living...FINALLY!!!! Thank you my sweet friend for your concern...I am just too busy to be under the weather.

Oh, I am a firm believer in the "WOW" factor...this is what we call it when you through the unexpected into the mix...your collection of "soft" vignettes is WONDERfilled!

Ordered my tree for Monday dear heart...YIPPEEEEEEE! My one splurge is a flocked tree, and I always cut off the bottom 2 ft of boughs for vignettes around the house...I will put the tea on, come and help me...Oh, if only...thank you for your fine visit...happy WISHES...~R~

Visiting your wonderful blog so beautiful and inspiring made me very happy .
I'm a little grumpy and everything is not how I like it .... I cannot seem to find any peace of mind .
Reading the words :
THE-ROBIN'S-EGG-BLUE touched me .
I do love beautiful words , how they sound and what they mean .
It's so beautiful to think of your blue as robin's egg blue .
I am going to get myself together and make something amazing of this day ! Thanx
