Apartment Therapy is celebrating their 10th anniversary. And because of that, they have done something called "Ten Things You Need to Know about Apartment Therapy". They have only shared three so far, but these three parts are worth reading, whether you know what Apartment Therapy is or not. It is very inspiring, quick reading!
In honor of their 10th, I thought I'd share a few of their most colorful interiors that they have featured on their site at one time or another...
Coral
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Purple
Pink
White
Grey

Do you go bold with color in your home?

No, I like what I call 'vintage-Scandinavian' look - pale colors like white and grey, clean but with vintage items instead of modern ones.
I do use Twitter - I'm pretty new to it too. DarjeelingDream is my Twitter handle (couldn't fit in the last 's')..
I love these and its so inspiring, not that I have a house to decorate.
Hey Shawna! I haven't seen this, so I'll hop on over.
I hope you're well and had a good Easter. It sucks that Ikea is so far away from where you live, but I guess it makes the trip that much more special!

GOOD MORNING DEAREST! I am so glad to see you have a new post; it popped up on my blog list, but I came by way of your dear sweet comment! Thank you for coming to greet me today! Oh these colors....I am an artist and I enjoy decorating my home. I dabble in many forms of crafts but I have NEVER known how to mix or play with colors! Even my illustrations are simple pen and ink drawings with the most elementary coloring techniques!!!! SOOOOOO....when I see such bold and BEAUTIFULLY ARRANGED rooms with colors that I would have NEVER THOUGHT of, my idea of color changes. Since blogging, I have learned to not be afraid to use more color in my décor. I do love however, a calm room with WHITE WALLS, light furniture and gray and natural elements with a splash of aqua or turquoise. My home is French style, but the Flea market style. My harp studio is more Shabby Chic/Marie Antoinette inspired, but I have added a BOLDER turquoise element in there. These photos are beautiful, and that LIME GREEN ROOM IS MARVELOUS; it reminds me of KEY LIME PIE!!!! HAVE A GREAT, GREAT DAY out in sunny CA.! I was born in Los Angeles and lived in Pico Rivera and Whittier for years. I moved to Boston, Mass., went to school and now live in Minneapolis, which is GORGEOUS, but STILL COLD!
HAPPY SPRING!!! Anita
what a fabulous display of colors...so much energy and vibrancy!

Gives "go bold or go home" a whole new meaning. Love that purple wall.
This is fabulous and makes me want to whip out the paint rollers immediately! That purple room is to die for!
Have a wonderful weekend, sweetie :)
Unfortunately I am a quite boring when it comes down to color. White and darkish brown are my basic palette but that doensn't mean that I want to change.
Love your inspiration!
Marie
A lovely selection. I especially love the coral wall and all the coral details in the first image. Hope yu have a beautiful weekend! Ada
Love the bright, bold colors. I can't wait for the day to paint some walls.
i love all these pictures! i'm always in the mood to decorate and i love color! haha! i wish i was as talented as these people! :)
I do love the colors used here. My home is fairly neutral, though I've always been tempted to at least color one wall red or blue. I love the first pic and the black wall is surprisingly non-gloomy.
great post , my favorite is the second from the bottom , cozy and lots of things going on , i like it when the room speak for its owner , personalized room .
Hi, sweet!!!! I love colors!!! There is a grape wall in my atelier, a green wall in my bedroom, Aila's room is soft pink, my kitchen is chocolate, the girl's bathroom (me and Aila) is yellow, daddy's bathroom is green, the social toilette is soft purple,....tee hee!!! As you can see, we do love colors around here!!!

I love colour, can't do without but for the walls I prefer white or a shade of white because there's just not one white, is there? I Love to add colour according to the season.

Love this post! Well, my walls are always pretty low key (except my oldest´s wallpaper) as in white and grey, but I love to ass color with prints, pillows and other things. Color makes me happy!
Did you ever read Happy chic colors by Jonathan Adler? I love that book! :-)
Hello my Sweet,
Hmmmmm...Well, I do LOVE when OTHER people go "bold", but am afraid that I am way too "fickle" to do it myself. I am a "POP of color kinda girl"...Now having said that, I must say, I am swooning over that coral bit of goodness you waved in front of my nose...ahhhh
How was your Easter Dear One?
As I mentioned to you earlier, I did not expect my babies home...but alas, they were VERY sneaky and both arrived home to surprise their parents...I was in "mama heaven"... it was perfect.
Sending you HUGS for the first week in May...xoxox...Rosie
When I have a house, I would want you to tell me how to make it look beautiful. You always have the most beautiful pictures of home decor.
My days are lovely! :) School ends in a week! Brenton is sort of back! My bike and I are in love. Such happiness in my heart all the time.
I hope your days are beautiful.
LOVE!
Oooh, loving that orange!
Have started to inject a bit of colour into the baby space place but mostly it's a deep blues, mossy greens and timber browns kinda house :)
I'd love to have a bold, bright colour in one room atleast. Just scrolling through the images you can feel the effect colour has on people
Oh how gorgeous xox
