Eclectic Glamour

I've had this home in my inspiration file for far too long. Browsing through, I got inspired all over again. This Los Angeles home mixes Hollywood glamour and comfortable eclectic perfectly. I especially love all the metallic details.

Rooms With Color

Apartment Therapy is celebrating their 10th anniversary. And because of that, they have done something called "Ten Things You Need to Know about Apartment Therapy". They have only shared three so far, but these three parts are worth reading, whether you know what Apartment Therapy is or not. It is very inspiring, quick reading!

In honor of their 10th, I thought I'd share a few of their most colorful interiors that they have featured on their site at one time or another...

Do you go bold with color in your home?

On a side note, does anyone else of you lovelies use Twitter?

Finding Inspiration In The Details

Today I am getting inspiration from this Maryland home. I hope you do too!

I always love a grouping of pictures on the wall like this.

I love this little side room/office that is adjacent to the dining room. Looks like some vintage finds!

I am really into white furniture now,  like that couch!

I think this bedroom is just beautiful!

Love that mirror!

DIY Inspiration

Below are four projects that two roommates made for their apartment using only a drill and barely any money at all. You may have seen this if you follow Apartment Therapy, but I was so impressed by this I had to share!

The first project was this table made from reclaimed wood. All they used was church floor joists and legs from Ikea.

This pipe fitting bookshelves was made from some gas pipe from Home Depot and pine planks from a lumber yard, stained.

This modern sculpture is made from posterboard from Staples and cost only $5!

This credenza made into a DJ booth was a Craigslist find. Originally, it was very beat up, but after using sandpaper, wood filler, and stain, it looks great!

All of these projects prove that you can have an expensive look for very cheap!

A Little More Sparkle

In keeping with my little gold obsession lately, I came across this beautiful home that has great style with some metallic accents. Located in Brooklyn, New York, this home has a fantastic color palette, and is unique, vintage and classy all in one. I am definitely drawing some inspiration from these pictures!
