Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It is hard to be back from vacation, but not as hard as it might normally be since it is the holidays! I am so excited to eat all that wonderful food! 

How great is it that there is a national holiday for all of us to really give thanks for all our wonderful blessings. Of course everyday should be like this, but how nice there is a holiday for it as well!

May you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by your loved ones! Appreciate each moment you have for we never know when times may change and everyone can't all get together.

I thought I would keep the fall/Thanksgiving theme going today with some inexpensive ideas to add some special touches to your decor this holiday. Even if you have already celebrated Thanksgiving, or don't at all, you still might be able to use these ideas for some special fall touches.

If you have a Liquid Amber tree, you might have these unique spurs.

A grape leaf adds some simplicity and elegance to this setting.

Painting a small pumpkin gold adds some shimmer to a table setting.

A branch with leaves placed under a clear plate allows this decor to remain while enjoying food.

Make your own basket-weave place cards. 

Make your own leaf motif table linens.

Cornhusk votives add an untraditional color to this table.

Glowing Hurricane Glasses.

Make your own flower arrangement using a pumpkin as a vase.

Use candle holders to display small pumpkins.

Use felt to make letters on candles like this "Giving Thanks" centerpiece.

If you have a secretary or any kind of shelving in your dining room, turn it into an overflow of harvest goodness with candles, pumpkins, cornhusks, and wheat.
